Lots of mono-white and mono-black this week. Both OSU and ASU are mono black with small touches of Veteran's Day swag.

Week 10: Nov. 2, 2019
Sorry for the late post...I was evacuated from the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County for 5 days....
Arizona dressed in a fauxback Dick Tomey "Dessert Swarm" uniforms while UW did an unusal mono-purple which never ends up with a win. The Mountain teams of Utah and Colorado both did white-outs.

Oregon pulled out its mono-"nightmare green", and just averted a loss vs WSU. ASU unveiled its one-ff "Sustainable" uniform that is mono-white.

Week 8: October 17, 2019
Stanford pulled out its annual all-black ensemble, and boy was that a funereal game for them, losing to previously-1-win UCLA. Ouch. Lots of road teams going mono-white this week. WSU in a great classic crimson/gray combo. Oregon, Utah and Stanford all chroming their helmets.

Midseason uniform review
With most or all Pac-12 teams having played half their season already, here are some interesting (or boring) uniform notes at the midpoint:
Overall, a pretty quiet first 2 months of the season. None—or very little—special occasion uniforms or throwbacks. Makes me wonder why I even did this post! LOL
North
- California has been pretty normal with a good rotation of its blue, white and yellow. Blue helmets as usual, and a blue pants for all but one game.
- Oregon has not repeated a combo yet, and has been more varied than last year when it went mono the first half. Two games each for its apple, nightmare and yellow hats.
- Oregon State has gone mono each game (except for helmets)
- Stanford...nothing to report here
- Washington State has been like Oregon in not repeating a combo and using its closet well.
South
- All the south has been unremarkable and normal...ditto about using their colors well.
- BUT, Utah has pulled out its annual retro set and Arizona did a retro helmet once.

Week 1: August 31, 2019
Not much new this year. OSU and UW were the only teams to do a total makeover (and even then its mainly the jersey). Oregon did a slight refresh of the set they debuted last season, while ASU and UA announced some specialty uniforms. Arizona opened the season in Hawaii so pulled out U.S.S. Arizona and Dick Tomey special uniforms. But honestly it's jut the helmet that is much different. All the California schools, Colorado, WSU and Utah are pretty much unchanged from last season.
As for the CFB 150 patch, USC and Colorado opted to now wear it.

2018 trends and looking toward 2019
This week/weekend was the start of the 2019 Pac-12 slate. Arizona played last weekend, but the rest kickoff tonight!
Here is a look back at last season and some looking forward to the current season.
Mono-colors
Headlined by Oregon, which only used mono-sets in the regular season, many teams wore the same colored pants and jerseys this season. And most went full-mono with helmet as well.
Simple
Also headlined by Oregon, there was a lack of special or oddball uniforms and a renewed sense of simplicity. Only a handful of one-off uniforms or throwbacks. Typically each team had one special uniform, unlike some years where each week brought new specialty sets.
Less Black, Gray and Chrome
The biggest trend of the last few seasons seemed to fade this year, with more school colors and white shining. Four of the Pac-12 have black or gray/silver as an official colors and are excused. The remaining teams used a lot less BFBS and GFGS.
Our good friends at Uniwatch did a really huge College Football preview, so that I don't have to! Check out Paul's Sports Illustrated compendium of our conference and the rest of CFB.

And as always check them out on a daily basis. My work with the Pac-12 and the Ducktracker will be highlighted each weekend of the season starting next weekend.

2018 season
This last season, the Pac-12 had some good uniform combos and a few trends. Here are the most notable uni-happenings from 9 months ago:Mono-colors

Bowl wrap-up: Jan. 2, 2019
In a lackluster athletic performance, the Pac-12 at least looked pretty good doing it. No wacky combos pulled out just for the bowl game and no oddball black or gray! All 7 teams wore traditional sets and the only notable trend was the season-long trend of mono jersey/pants. Ironically the one team that was mono ALL year, Oregon, bucked the trend! But Cal, Stanford, ASU and WSU went mono. Oregon used a classic yellow-green combo that I'd bargain was the Pac-12's best use of school colors this bowl season.
